It is often argued by some that a lot of capital is wasted on arts by the government instead it should be funded somewhere better. I completely agree with this opinion and the ruling political party should spend the tax received on education and as well on healthcare.
Firstly, instead of wasting money on arts leaders can use this amount to educate people in their country. The fee structure of private schools is very expensive and most of the middle-class people can’t afford it. The government should provide scholarships to underprivileged families so that their children can learn subjects and use them in their lives. This will also increase the GDP of the country because of more students getting jobs in companies. For example, the value of Indian currency grew when the government of India provided funds for students who wanted to study abroad. Hence investing in people’s education will be a good decision for the government.
The next thing government official should spend their money is on the medical field. Nowadays, there are numerous number of viruses present and they are increasing, officials should fund in medical labs to find cures for dangerous diseases so that the death and birth ratio remains stable. During COVID-19 all the governments started providing money to their respective labs to find the cure because the percentage of people dying was increased. To prevent the upcoming diseases the government should spend on drug labs.
In conclusion, the government should stop wasting money on arts and should give the same amount to encourage education and to medical institutes.
