People have different opinions about the fees paid for healthcare and education. Some people believe that the government should be responsible for the payment of such facilities, while others claim that people should take care of the payment by themselves. Personally, I agree with the latter view.
On the one hand, there are several reasons why some consider that government should be in charge of providing the citizens with money to pay for the healthcare and education. The first obvious factor is that since people are required to give some amount of money earned by them as taxes to the government, they think that the taxes are collected to support the citizens in a long-term period, and it has to be allocated to their educational and healthcare purposes when they need it. Poverty could be another reason for this conception. There is a huge number of people living with lack of money at any point of the world, and they claim that they have rights to ask the government for a support of money as a citizen of the country. In addition, a few people believe that nationally natural resources, such as gold, coal and gas, belong to not only the government but also for the citizens as well. As a result, they might require the authorities to help them with their medical and educational needs.
On the other hand, however, I align with those who believe that people, themselves, are responsible to cover their own both medical and educational needs. Firstly, there are a lot of services and facilities— such as military, national army and firefighting, which are not often paid by individuals, that the government should supply instead of healthcare and education of people because those field are much more crucial for the safety of the country. Secondly, if the government starts to be responsible the payment of every individuals’ needs, the imbalance begins to arise among society due to some illegal activities like corruption by some people who try to use every cent of the monetory help regardless of their social position.
In conclusion, although the governments have some responsibilities to supply the citizens in some cases and conditions, I believe that healthcare and education payment should be taken from individuals themselves
