It is believed that heritages and traditions are demolished by tourist attractions for money-making purposes. Some people think that it is the only exception to such traditions. It is true that human existence can damage statues, paintings, and others. However, it may be improved by attention and money.
On the one hand, it is common to observe that a lot of foreigners visit historical places, and doing this, they try to touch things that are prohibited, as those things can be broken as they are ancient. One of the museums in Uzbekistan, namely ‘’Amir Temur”, has several models of buildings in different areas, and ‘’Ichan Kala’’ was destroyed by touching one of the visitors. There were some plates that were used two centuries ago, and parts of the model were broken. Moreover, museums can hold different types of historical monuments, and they are protected from vandalism, but they cannot prevent some destruction.
On the other hand, monuments that are exhibited can earn money for their restoration. Firstly, it is not only clean but also without any damages, as they may use money raised by tourism. Secondly, those things can be kept for centuries thanks to restoration that is organized and relentless. Finally, items that are in exhibit are protected because they have enough financial value.
To conclude, it is true that destroying historical objects can happen as a result of touristic actions; however, raising money can save those broken items, and it can be the only way to keep them.
