Nowadays, mobile phones are very popular among the young generation as they spend most of their time with them. Few educational institutions have prohibited their students from using mobile phones on campus. I agree with this restriction due to the following reasons, briefly explained below.

First and foremost, restrictions on mobile phone usage during class time are beneficial for your young generations. Because it increases the concentration of them while listening to the lecture delivered by their teachers. If they are keeping themselves busy with mobile browsing or internet scrolling, then they will not be able to understand what was taught in the classroom and what the important things are to know, even for the exam. Consequently, they will not do well in their academic life. On the other hand, one who has control over utilizing the mobile phone can be sound in academically and morally, as he will be able to learn many real-life things from the teacher during his class time. So, the prohibition of smartphone use on campus is essential for our children’s prosperous lives.

Using a mobile phone during class time not only impacts academically but also influences mentally as well as socially. Long-term use of mobile phones, students are not willing to go for outdoor and indoor activities to keep themselves healthy and sound. For instance, the student who is addicted to smartphones engages him crime, which has a detrimental effect on our society, particularly on our teenagers. So, along with the teachers, the parents should come forward to make them wise regarding the excessive use of mobile phones during their class time, as well as on campus. Limited utilization of mobile phones can make one more proficient in both physical and psychological aspects.
