Band 4+: Some students tend to play computer games rather than do sports. Why is this? What can be done to tackle the problem?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Teenagers these days are engaged in playing computer games instead of enriching their free time by doing sports. There are several reasons for this and ways to solve the problem.

These days young generation is mostly engaged into computer gaming which is considered detrimental. This happens because of teenagers’ unscheduled regimen and they sometimes can be unaware of the wishes and needs. Here parents should be in charge of helping their offsprings to orginize their free time properly.

Another way to deal with a problem is to make some sport activities an essential part of teenagers’ lives. For example, parents and other resposible for them adults must help to make any sports a habitual activity for their children. This can be achieved by monotonous repetition until it becomes a strong habit. When a child goes into some sports from his or her childhood it will be easier for them to do that in older age. Thus a healthy habit can be established.

Finally, I think that doing sports is a way to live a productive life and this habit acn be accustomed in early childhood. This can be achieved by the help of older generation. In this case teenagers will spend less time in front of computers.
