It is undeniable that reducing the crime rate could be achieved effectively if police strolling streets are employed. From a personal perspective, I totally disagree with this idea owing to the following reasons.

One the one hand, the option of increasing policemen presence on the streets is ineffective when facing the transnational criminal activities on a global scale is attractive for several reasons.Firstly, in this day and age, the appearance of modern crimes such as cyber-crime or international crime, which frequently use digital vulnerabilities to steal personal information accessible through online networks, becoming increasingly prevalent. Moreover, the methodologies of committing crimes have become more sophisticated and criminals may find ways to avoid being observed by policemen, so many unwatched places will be a reasonable choice. For this reason, policemans, despite their armament and special training , are unable to control offenses immediately. As a result, the prevention of criminal activities through the increased presence of security forces on the streets often be encountered with challenges.

On the other hand, idealing with the issue of crime, which has been effectively shortened recently, may require an alternative way in lieu of having more police on streets. The governments should allocate sufficient funds to implement an effective CCTV system, which can be operated without a time limit and help community engagement and mutual support among residents within a neighborhood. Also, technological training should be adopted for police forces to provide them with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively combat cybercrime and sophistication. Above all, Education is a key factor that can solve the root of crime, as a widespread education can impart knowledge about the harsh punishment of criminal behavior on individuals and their families if they guilty

In conclusion, I am inclined to support the view that having more policemen on streets is ineffective to prevent the crime rate as it is not thoroughly resolved while many better choices like utilizing digital systems and education to solve this issue.
