In recent years, it has been believed that technologies can provide us with the range of translators between languages. In that case, some people think that learning new languages is not crucial as it was. In this essay, i will outline both advantages and disadvantages of modern technologies.
On the one hand, there is so many benefits of inovations on technologies such as live translator or artificial intelligents. Firstly, some individuals think that people don’[t need to study so many years to become good at other language because of translators or AI assistants. Nextly, learning languages so many years can cost so many money, so some individuals think it is great idea to us AI instead of studying. Let’s take an example of one of my homie, he has been learning English for 3 years and still not good at all, but i have been using live translator for a month and i am even better than him.
On the other hand, others think that it is bad idea to use technology instead of study. There is so many reasons for that and the first one could be wrong date and responses from AI assistants or live translators. For instance, while i am using Chat GPT as a translator, some times it starts to giving wrong responses to me. Finally acquire skills in English could be benefit for them. For example, if you become master, you can take an IELTS exam and referals to some of top universities all over the world.
To sum up, i think that while there is still merits and demerits of technology, it depends on individuals own knowledge.
