There is an ongoing debate about whether children should be taken to school by parents. While some people argue that children should be transported to school by the government. This essay will discuss both perspectives before presenting my own opinion.
On the one hand, parents play a crucial role in their children’s live by raising and educating them not only at home but also by supporting their education. Nowadays, many parents are busy making money and barely have enough time to spend with their children. Therefore, driving their children to school can provide a valuable opportunity for parents to talk and connect with them Moreover, parents can also take care of their children’s needs, by ensuring that they arrive at school on time and keeping them safe. In addition, parents can keep track of their children’s schedules, and schools events and make sure that they manage their time effectively. As a result, the relationship between parents and children can become stronger and strengthen bond, so that, allowing children to gain a better understanding of their parents.
On the other hand, many people believe that government should take more responsibilty for providing transportation for schoolchildren. One major reason is that not all parents have enough time to take their children to school everyday. For example, working parents may not have enough time because they have busy schedule, meanwhile, low-icome families may not have sufficient financial resources to own a vehicle. Therefore, public transportation or school buses should ensure possibility for all children and have equal access to education. Futhermore, increasing public transportation services for schools and students can reduce the number of privates vehicles on the road, which may help to reduce traffic congestion and air or noise pollution.
In my opinion, although parents should remain responsible for their children’s safety, the government should provide affordable and covenient transportation services, especially for students who live far from school. This would support both families and children in education while also creating a stronger sense of community and contributing to the country’s development by providing children with more opportunities.
