The pictures show many changes that have taken place at West Park secondary school from 1950 to 2010.
At first, as it is noticed, the zone of houses that were on the left on the map of 1950 were demolished, so it does not exist anymore at the map of the secondary school of 1980. Another noticeable feature that we can see between 1950 to 1980, is the expansion of the school with a science block, and car parking was added. Moreover, the farmland had been replaced with the sports field.
Therefore, there were significant alterations that happened in the pictures from 1980 to 2010. The parking lot was extended along the sports field area, reducing the size of the sport complex and adding it to the playground, cutting also the lot of the play zone.
Additionally, the most remarkable changes were shown in the illustrations of 1950 and 2010. The houses were demolished and modernized mostly through the parking lot and with the science block. Finally, the sport complex was opened into the play zone.
