It’s often said that the computers are the vital innovation of human beings over the last century. However I completely disagree with this statement because there are a plenty of other inventions such as products for health care or initially popular internet.
First of all, in the last hundred years medical system is developing by inventing new medicines and they help to cure various serious illnesses. It means, some decades ago the rate of infant death was catastrophic, but after invention of vaccines, it became possible to downsize these numbers. For example, earlier children could die, because of flu. Over and above, there was invented other items like x-ray which lets doctors to prevent various health problems. As a result, nowadays it is possible to decrease the number of mortality by preventing the disease development.
Secondly, invention of commonplace internet has changed the world. Currently, it is impossible to imagine our live without it, so it makes our lives more straightforward. As an illustration, these days customers can utilize online shops to order new items without going somewhere. As a result it can help people to save their time and do other essential staff. Moreover, the internet is global library where one can find any information for their work or study.
In conclusion, it will be unfair to deny the importance of computers. Anyhow, I believe, it is not the great invention of humanity, since there are a plenty of things such as medicines, medical devices or internet, which can also be equally or even more important than computers.
