The graph illustrates the production levels of 3 main linds of fuel in UK from the year 1981 to 2000. The production of petroleum fuctuates, while the levels of natural gas increases and the production of coal decreases.
From 1981 to 1984, the production levels of Petroleum increases from around 90% to 140% then continues to stay stable until 1986. However, it starts to decrease until 1990. Dropping from 140% to 100%. Similarly, there was also another stable production level until 1992. It then starts to increase steadily until 2000 with an energy production level of 130%.
As for natural gas, it started as the fuel with the least amount of energy production with only 39%. Fortunately, it was able to continue to increase until the year 2000 with 101%. Natural gas was also able to produce more energy compared to boal in the year 1991, with 50%. Lastly, the production levels of coal decreases from 80% to about 34% from the year 1981 to 2000.
