The migration of people from a country to another has been in the last years a tendency that many people are living. There are different reasons that could help to promote this behavior, it could be for live different experiences, or for a best quality of life, or for personal reasons.
Each country has established laws to regulate the migration of people to their countries, for example in countries integrates to the European Union, there is a legal period of time that people can stay if the reason to live is for tourism, and it depends of the country where people come from. In my opinion, it must be regulated according with the amount of population of each country and with the benefits that each people can bring to the country, such as qualified people.
Between the benefits of this behavior, are the improvement of the economy of each region by activities like tourism, transport, accommodation, etc., and it could help to the exchange cultural. In the other hand, if it is not regulated, it could present any drawbacks like overpopulation and the loss of the identity of each region because if the amount of international people increases, there will be less opportunities of job or study for the local people.
One experience related with this, is the migration of thousands people from Venezuela to different countries, specially for their near countries like Colombia and Brazil, it has represented an overpopulation in the cities where they arrive, and has had an negative impact to the local economy.
