High salary, personal fulfilment or a chance to help others are the main factors which encourage people to do well at their work. I think, money can inspire people who are in pursuit of capital to work better, however interest can make a person to work with a desire and determination.
First and foremost factor which can truly help people to do their best while they are working is the sense of interest towards the work. Since if a person has a great passion, then they will be willing to do it. Furthermore the work which is done with great determination and a strong desire can give the person a sense of satisfaction which urges them to work much better than before. For example, the research which has been done recently proves that if a person is interested in some particular thing, the feeling of interest motivates them to do better at their job.
The other motivator could be a lucrative job. Some individuals who are usually in pursuit of money choose a work which provides them with a huge amount of wage. If they get money for what have they done, they may try to do it much better to achieve a rank in workplaces. For example, it has become a common case in workplaces that the new recruits are asking for salary first before they decide on whether get a job or not. Furthermore, if a person is paid enough that deserves what they have done, it would be a great motivator to perform well at their work.
In conclusion, high salary and job satisfaction have been always the main factor to perform well at work. From my perspective, interest and wage could be the main factors which can truly encourage employees to do well at their job.
