Despite this, I believe this trend is undesirable. A major drawback is that it weakens family bonds. Nowadays, it is common for people to eat out with friends or colleagues, which reduces opportunities for meaningful interaction with family members. Shared meals are often a time for connection, conversation, and emotional support. Another significant disadvantage is the increased sense of isolation. Instead of sitting together at the table, people tend to eat alone, which can be particularly harmful for children or elderly family members, leading to feelings of loneliness and neglect.
