Technology advancement nowadays is increasing significantly in all sectors, such as communications, medicine and vehicle networks. Some people state that too many dependence on this modern computer has given a harmful effect. Personally, I agree with the latter notion that will be explained further the possible reasons.
The first point to consider is due to lack of security. The modern computer systems indeed create a work more effective and efficient. Despite this advantages, the systems can be dangerous if they are not be equipped with a high protection. The networks can be hacked by irresponsible people. Thus, they can obtain confidential data from their victims. For example, lots of hacking crime has been occurred in Indonesia by calling a victim. The suspect can draw million rupiahs from the victim as the telephone networks has been set up to connect with the system they had.
In addition, harmful virus may ruin the internet connections. If companies do not have a back up data or plan, all the files can be lost. Thus, they cannot run the proper business. Take an airplane navigation systems as an instance. If the network are being tripped, the plane route will be disorganised. It will bother the passengers who travel and employees. The schedule will be in a mess. Thus, aircraft crews can overwhelmed to encounter the passenger’s complaints.
In conclusion, I would agree that reliance on computer can be a harmful circumstance due to lack of high security that causes hacking cases and computer virus that can be potency to make the systems become unstable.
