Nowadays, large cities face a problem with traffic congestion such as traffic jams in rush hours. To solve this problem, a number of changes can be made in public transport consequently it would be more comfortable and regular. Moreover, it may be encouraged to commute by cycling or walking.
A significant portion of contemporary community prefer cars, but not the community transportation recess. First, the schedule should be organized to be stricter, hence it would be easier for citizens to plan their time. Furthermore, mass transit should be going frequently. Finally, unless more seats are available people would choose their comfort over clusters in buses or trolleybuses. Grows in the popularity of public shipment in my city would be a great example of how such developments help avoid tailbacks. As a result, during last 2 years the amount of travels by trams, buses and metro increase by 5%.
As the development of urban services is conceded, I would like to suggest one more way how to deal with problematic traffic congestion: an encouraging of alternative ways of commuting that don’t require any motor vehicle. To help it become liked by society, authorities should create more cycling lines and attractive streets. From my own experience, since the new alley was implemented I walk to school or sometimes ride a bike rather than get there by bus.
To conclude, some tiny changes could solve such a vast problem with traffic congestion. The way to your work, school or meeting can become more comfortable, if the upgrading of public transport is provided. And obviously people may get somewhere by bike or walk there, if there would be more conveniences set up.
