Truth be told, there have been some significant discussions and dialogues in respect to the fact that violence children is significantly increasing in playgrounds.

I disagree with the statement that parents should teach children not to hit back at bullies. While it’s essential to promote peaceful conflict resolution, there are instances where self-defense is necessary, especially if the bullying is severe or poses a physical threat.

I once witnessed a bullying incident at a playground where a larger child was physically harassing a smaller child. The smaller child tried to ignore the bully and walk away, but the bully continued to torment them. Eventually, the smaller child pushed the bully away and ran to an adult.

In conclusion, while peaceful conflict resolution should be encouraged, teaching children to never hit back at bullies can be overly simplistic. It’s important to strike a balance between promoting peace and ensuring that children have the tools they need to protect themselves from harm.
