In the society it is believed that prison is the appropriate location victims, while others think that addressing root causes and education might be a good decision. I partially agree, for the prison of the criminals.
Firstly, prison creates a sense if safety in the community, by sending victims to jail can reduce fear, encourage social order, and feel more secure. Additionally, imprisonment for criminal act as a deterrent for the potential criminal, through which people who are considering committing crimes might change their minds. This psychological effect can prevent crimes before they happen.
Secondly, addressing the root causes of crime is more effective, it often results from poverty, and lack of education. Instead of focusing only on legally, government social focus on programs to prevent crime. Furthermore instead of just punishing, providing vocational training and rehabilitation programs can help by reintegrating into society. For instance, countries like Norway focus on rehabilitation rather than punishing more, resulting in lower crime rates.
In conclusion, I partially agree that prison should be responsible for the criminals inadequate supervision. In some cases, root causes and rehabilitation programs may also be helpful in reducing crime. Both are the better option to deal with criminals.
