One school of thought holds that it is a complete waste to spend money on space exploration. They think money could be better spent on other problems in the world today. From my point of view, I strongly support the statement because of this statement for the following reasons.
To begin with, there are many problems on Earth that need money, they are facing several issuses, such ass famine, natural disaster, pollution or terrorism,which require immediate action. For example, people need better health care, education, and food. The money used for space exploration could help solve these problems. If we spend this money on scholarships, more young people can go to school. This can help reduce unemployment and poverty. Also, space missions cause pollution. Instead of spending money on rockets, we should use it to make cleaner cars and better public transport.
However, exploring space is not completely useless. Satellites sent to space can observe what is happening on Earth , and therefore, can provide highly accurate forecasts about the weather and, more importantly, the potential occurrence of natural disasters.
In conclusion, I completely agree with the idea that money could be better spent on other causes instead of spending money on space exploration
