Nowadays, automation is increasing in the workplace. Because of this, some people think that creative skills like art and music are becoming less important. However, others believe that these skills are still important for innovation and solving problems. This essay will discuss both views and give my opinion.
On the one hand, many jobs are now done by machines and computers. Automation can work faster and make fewer mistakes than humans. So, companies want workers who have technical skills, such as using machines or computers. Creative skills like art and music are not directly useful in most jobs. For this reason, some people think that learning these skills is not necessary.
On the other hand, creative skills help people think in a new way. Art and music improve imagination and creativity. Machines cannot think creatively like humans. Creative people can find new ideas and solve problems easily. These skills are useful in many fields, such as business and technology.
In my opinion, creative skills are still important in modern life. Even though automation is growing, humans need creativity to be different from machines. Therefore, people should learn both technical skills and creative skills for a better future.
