To begin with, teenagers using social media without any barrier can be disastrous for them. By having access to these online social platforms, these youngsters can communicate with anyone and without any guidance, they can even indulge themselves in those illegal online activities. As we know that, online scamming is on the increase, so these teenagers are the potential targets of those scammers and with no supervision, it can be damaging. A recent study has shown that in most of the cases of cybercrimes, young population is the biggest victim.
There are various number of solutions that can be implemented for a good change. Firstly, an individual’s parents must come forward to have a proper supervision of their children. Nowadays, every device comes with the option of parental control can be used to prevent those problems. Secondly, the government must implement certain rules for these social media platforms so that they can restrict children to access these platforms without any supervision. Recently in India, the government has banned some applications which could have been dangerous for the youth. So, in this manner they can again frame some strict laws for the surveillance of the same.
