The digitalisation is a notable result of the technological progress. As an example, many people now have a remote work, providing value without physical presence. Companies host conferences and job interviews online as a way to lower expenses. Advertising had become easier by email, leaving the common newsletters behind.
For some people, it is a big worry. Many argue that offices and other corporate buildings may be on an edge of disappearance. A practical example shows otherwise – a global pandemic, which was a turning point for full-time shops and self-employed, had not erased them. Especially, they had adapted to digital marketing. These times created a new form of income without destruction.
Others say that physical workspaces are essential for the maintenance of professional culture, cooperation and innovation. For many, this opinion is based on their experience.
Nevertheless, freelance does not directly threaten the traditional form of employment and work. It is not correct to see the growth of online entrepreneurship as a step to total disappearance of urban business districts. People are often misunderstood by thinking a tendency can decide the future.
As of my opinion, I think that remote work should only be encouraged and there is no risk of radical changes. It is a way of gaining financial freedom. By working anywhere you please without strict corporate dependence, a person is more likely to find stability and inner peace. However, everyone has a personal approach. In a perfect society, there should always be different options for employment.
