In recent years, the issue of social skills with the rise of social media has become increasingly controversial, attracting widespread public interest and sparking intense debate. Some people argue that social skills related to real-life are declining nowadays, and insist to improve certain social skills in a digital world. I firmly contend that a range of valuabel social skills are lost due to rising of social media, and certain social skills should be improved in contemporay societies.
First and foremost, people tend to consider only about themselves rather than considerate for others, accelating the selfinisheness and isolation. This means that people can be anynomous in the online circumstances, causing not taking care or responsibility about ohters and making them feel lonely. As a result, people easily make realtionship with unknown others, and easily break it with social media. Such social skill is useful and effecitive when light relationship only required, dealing with some problem or getting adiveces some information from othes. However, it also may harmful for deep realationship, making people feel isloated.
In order to improve social skills in dizital world, consideration and endurance should be improved by being awareness of importane of them and steady practice. Instead of avoiding complex realationships, people should encounter such problems and try to solve them by undertstaing deeply others and genuine conversation.
In conclusion, although there are several beneficial social skills with using social media, but still several social skills are needed for living a real-life. I strongly believe communication skills with online friends should be maintained, but consideration and endurance are needed for those who live in a dizital world.
