As we know, there are many different media outlets and there is competition between them for viewers and money. This leads to the publication of various gossip and rumors about celebrities, which attracts attention and increases views and earnings. For example, a high-profile celebrity divorce that attracts a huge number of people, and because of the competition, the media begins to create gossip, spread it even more and publish all the details, including personal conversations and financial decisions.
Social media has also played a big role, as information spreads through them very quickly, blurring the boundaries between public and private life, which is becoming an increasing problem due to the ease of transmitting information. For example, when something happens and it’s posted online, thousands of people around the world will find out about it in just a few minutes and it is scary.
I believe that this violates human rights, and even because of competition, personal information should not be published in the media to protect people from harm and interference in their personal lives.
