It is widely believed that receiving formal education is more beneficial, while others prefer studying at home. In my point of view, going to school is more useful than being home schooled.
Out of all the arguments, the strongest one to prove my view is that schools have access to qualified teachers who have the knowledge and experience to share a high-quality education. This is particularly important because such professionals are able to explain complex topics more easily and give feedback for learners in their mastering process. As a result, learners are more likely to achieve superior schooling results. In contrast, being in online teaching may provide a more flexible schedule, but the lack of professional guidance can negatively affect students’ academic performance.
The other reason to prove my point is conventional academy helps students develop essential social skills. This is mainly as a result of their interaction with classmates during different group tasks, which improves their ability to communicate and make decisions. To illustrate, learners working on a science project learn to allocate tasks, listen to each other’s perspectives, and foster collaboration and problem-solving skills effectively. For that reason, scholars become more confident and well-prepared for future careers, where teamwork is the main tool. However, home studying is the best opportunity for pupils who struggle to communicate with each other or have limited abilities.
In conclusion, although home learning can be suitable for students with disabilities, I strongly believe that attending school is more beneficial because it offers access to professional teachers and promotes the mastery of vital social skills.
