In many countries, owning a home is considered more important than renting. In my opinion, the main reason for this is the high cost of monthly rent, which makes owning a home a more desirable option for many people.

Firstly, in today’s world, we can observe significant changes in the lifestyles of people across various countries. However, in several places, there is still a strong preference for owning a home rather than renting one. Owning a home offers the advantage of living happily and freely without concerns, allowing families to live according to their own preferences. Homeownership provides the freedom to make changes to the living space, host events, and live without the restrictions that often come with renting. For example, my uncle, who lives in Italy, rents a house on a six-month contract. He pays around 400 euros per month in rent, while his salary is about 1400 euros. Due to high living expenses and rent, he struggles to save money and has to follow the rules set by the landlord.

On the other hand, owning a home is a positive situation with numerous benefits. One of the greatest advantages is the freedom to use the living space as desired. Additionally, owning a home provides security for future generations, allows for hosting gatherings, and offers a sense of freedom. For instance, I enjoy playing music loudly, playing with friends in the garden, decorating my room, and having chats with family members. Living in my own home allows me to do all of these things without restrictions and also helps in saving money.

In conclusion, in many countries around the world, people prefer owning a home rather than renting because homeownership eliminates the need to pay rent, which can contribute to financial stability. In my opinion, this is a positive situation for the reasons discussed above.
