It is considered that allocating some tasks for children to do at home should be forbidden, whereas some people think that it plays pivotal role in the education. That will be discussed in this essay before giving my opinion.
According to some, homework should not be assigned because they think that it could reduce the quality of their time, which means they have to pay attention on the tasks. As a result, they do not have enough time to participate in extra curriculum, and they could not reap the benefits from that. For example, if young learners have to do homework after school, they do not have time to play with their peers or their parent. Therefore, their life have become sedentary lifestyle, leading to suffering from health issues, such as depression, anxiety and aggressive behaviors.
On the other hand, numerous people believe that homework plays a critical role in the academic. They claim that the pupils would not revise the topics they have learned unless they were given some tasks; therefore, the lessons that have been taught by their teachers might be wasteful. Additionally, assigning works for numerous trainees after school hours is considered one of the effective ways to check whether they understand the lessons or not. In that way, numerous tutors can effortlessly assess not only the weakness of the students but also how they should be guided.
As the previous paragraphs have depicted, I assume that most young learners should be given homework in order to revise the topics; nevertheless, the amount of it should be set up to a certain level. The teachers should understand the capacity of their pupils. Not too many workloads would be given to grant the chance to spend their leisure time.
In conclusion, homework is still contentious in this society due to the fact that many people take either positive views or negative ones. I fervently hope that a number of teachers might allocate the tasks according to the capacity,
