Overall, it is clear that girls outnumbered boys in most categories. And there is a pronounced gap between two genders in Football and Netball.
In detail, when it comes to football boys accounted for 20%, while only about 4% of the opposite gender was interested in this activity. Turning to Netball around 17% of female students preferred it, at the same time only around 2% of males engaged in this leisure activity.
For the other three activities, the gender differences were less significant. In swimming just over 15% of girls preferred it, while boys accounted for about 13%. When it comes to basketball males outperformed opposite gender. Figure for boys accounted for approximately 8%, while around 7% of girls engaged basketball. Additionally male students who were not interested in any sport was fewer than female students, with approximately 4% and 5%, respectively.
