It is widely believed that the classes are more efficient if conducted face-to-face rather than online. I disagree with this idea due to the reasons of comfort and convenient timing.
First of all, students’ mental and physical wellbeing are the highest priority in any class, which means that cosy and comfortable education environment is of utmost importance while choosing between online and offline classes. What is a better place for students to study than their own homes? During online education, they do not have to leave the familiar comfort of their homes, which can positively influence the productivity of educational processes. In schools, however, sometimes they can face hostile environment due to bullying and peer pressure, leading to not only worsened academic performance, but also mental health issues..
Furthermore, online classes are available at any time. Students can take classes at any desired time and redo it if they feel unsure about the information from the lesson. This is, espessially, beneficial for students who are academically lacking; thay can study the materials as many times as they wish, whereas the offline classes are strictly scheduled and limited in time. Students have to be available at a certain time for about an hour for a lesson, after which they are left to deal with the study materials and questions about the topic on their own.
Nevertheless, the benefit of real life communication is an advantage of on in-class education that can not be ovelooked. In my opinion, however, the communication online is just as beneficial and helpful for students during their studies. For example, texting with project partner can be as useful as talking to them in terms exchanging study information.
In conclusion, I disagree that offline education is superior to online education due to the reasons mentioned above.
