Band 7+: You started in your present job two years ago. You now feel it is important for your career development to move to a different department in the same company. Write a letter to your manager. Dear Dr. Mark,

I hope that this letter finds you well. I am writing this letter because I want to move to the department of ultrasonography in your veterinary clinic.

First of all, I have learnt all the procedures in the emergency sector for two years. Thus, I have a good experience in different diagnostic means including the uses of ultrasound machine.

Secondly, although I have been doing great job in the emergency department, I think that it is quite exhausting work; as a consequence, I want to move to the ultrasound sector. If I work in this sector, I will take some rest, and I will learn all the techniques of diagnosing diseases using the ultrasonography.

Lastly, despite being exhausted in emergency, I have never thought about looking for a job opportunity in any other companies because I have a strong bond with all employees. In addition, I like the convenient atmosphere of your organization.
