The pie charts given provides information regarding the proportion of people with a variety of degrees who worked in an engineerng company in 1980 and 2008. The numbers are mentioned in percentages.

To begin with in the year 1980, Masters Science is the most common degree found in the engineering company, standing at 29%. Which is then followed up by first degree Arts, with 25%. Followed up with first degree Science, at 19%. PhD Science is also relatively common in the company, at 13%, followed up with Master Arts, only a percentage below phd science. However, a degree in PhD Arts is rarely found in the company, with only 2% with the degree working in the company.

However, there has been a considerable amount of change that has happened in the upcoming years. In 2008, PhD Science is now dominating as the most popular degree in the company, with 30%. Master Science has also not been left far behind, only a percentage behind PhD Science, at 29%. It is then followed up by Master Arts, First degree Arts, and First degree science, with 13%, 11%, and 10% respectively. PhD Arts still remain the least common degree found in the engineering company, with 7%.

To conclude, a degree in Masters Science or PhD Science still remains the most common degree found in the company along the years, while on the other hand, PhD Arts still remained the least popular degree found working in the company.
