The above bar chart illustrates, the money given to charity by British people from 1990 to 2010 by different aged people.
From the bar chart it is clearly seen that in the year 2010 the money given to charity by people of age group 18-25 is approximately 6% to 7% which is very less as compared to other age groups. While on the other hand the highest money given to charity is by people of age between 51 – 65, they have given near about 40%.
In 1990, there was a rapid increase in donation of money till age group of 36 – 50 but from there a slight decrease in the graph is seen. The highest donation to charity by British people was done in 1990 by the people who were aging in between 36 to 50. And the least donation was done in 2010 by people who’s age were from 18 to 35.It is also seen that old age people who’s age is 65+ have donated upto 35% in both the years.
