In today’s contemporary society, some assume that businesses should give their employees more access to exercise time during the day due to its upsides. Personally, I totally agree with this statement, so I would like to explore this topic further in this essay.
To begin with, as the working environment these days is becoming hectic and uptight, employees may be likely to need something to get out of the rat race they are working in. This is exemplified by providing employees with exercise time can be incredibly considered a great escape. I mean this time can be shown in the way they let off some steam after enduring stress and regenerating their batteries for the next work time. There are a large number of deadlines to meet and many unexpected tasks to handle, so the presence of exercise time is extremely essential to them. A well-established company’s CEO in my accommodation, for example, allows its employees to have a short time for doing exercises in the company’s gym. Therefore, staff might be able to have a positive working environment, leading to the growth of career achievements.
One such perk is that exercise time plays an important role in not only improving personal mental health but also bonding colleagues in a fast-paced firm. To be specific, they can maintain their friendship by doing exercises together, or even share their reflections at work instead of planning to hold a strenuous meeting. Additionally, by incorporating private health check-ups into exercise time from the CEO, its employees not only improve their well-being and mental health, but also save a sufficient amount of money because of not having a general check-up themselves.
In conclusion, there are more advantages when it comes to having exercise time in companies. Hopefully, someday all enterprises will provide their employees with exercise time.
