The table provided displays the amount of workers active in six different idustries in austrila in 20 years between 1989 and 2009 .

Overall, all of the six industries had increased thair workforce slightly in the last two decades, accept retail and manufacturing. Manufactring and retail were the most domainant followed by health care and construction ,then education and toursim at the bottom of the list in the first period but health care became the highest employed industry later .

Manufacturing had the highest emplyees in 1989 with a percentage of 15% but later dropped to 9.8% in 2009 , followed by retail at 11.8% in 1989 which later decreased to 10.1%, which made health care the most dominant industry with 11.3% due to the fall in both retail and manufacturing percentages in the second decade.

despite the fall in retail and manufaturing all of the four remaining industries increased slightly with health care increasing by 1.7% , construction by 0.7% , education by 0.7% ,and tourism having the biggest rise with 1.8 % from 1989 to 2009.
