Nowadays, opinions are divided on whether watching events directly at stadiums, or watching the same one through screens at home. For my view, I would strongly agree with the former for the reasons presented below.
To begin with, most people believe that watching performances at home is more advantageous in some cases. First of all, viewers are able to own private space for watching entire concerts.In general, they are more likely to choose comfortable seats and also favorite snacks while enjoying the art performance through screens as well as sitting or lying pleasantly instead of sticking a sea of people which can cause undesired situations during the concerts. Moreover, it’s the fact that attending the concerts indirectly helps fans save big amounts of money and time. For example, many concerts are conducted abroad, there might be some extra fees to pay, namely airplane tickets, eating, accommodations, etc and take lots of time to move between destinations.That is why watching at home is more suitable for people who have average financial situations and shortage of time.
Despite mentioned advantages, I would definitely say that watching live concerts is more thrilling than watching it through screens. Joining in the stage’s atmosphere brings some valuable emotions, namely happiness, surprise, etc. Being surrounded by numerous people with the same hobbies can bring back valuable experiences and feelings which will become unforgettable memories in their own life. Unfortunately, not every performance is available on TV. For example, a BlackPink concert recently took place in Vietnam a year ago attracting numerous individuals to come, and there were no official replays on television. No media departments were allowed to replay the show due to the copyright problems. Even when there are leakable videos about the show, it sometimes has low quality in comparison with live performance.
In conclusion, despite the benefits of saving money and choosing the most suitable places to watch, I believe that going to live performances is much more exciting than watching on TV. Because the life experience that are brought back by directly attendance are invaluable rather than remotely one.
