The provided table chart depicts information about the percentages of children attending four sorts of different secondary schools from 2000 to 2009.

A first glance from the graph reveals that, the percentages of children attending in community secondary schools had increased significantly which was from 12% to 58% than other schools. In contrast , voluntary controlled schools had bottomed out from 52% to 20% which was the opposite reflection of community secondary school.

Besides, the other schools such as specialist school and grammar schools also had experienced the decline of their percentages respectively. Specialist school fell from 12% to 10% gradually and similarly grammar school had slipped out from 24% to 12% in the proportion of secondary schools.

In conclusion it is clearly noticeable that, voluntary controlled schools were able to make their impact on children’s attendance of their academic life rather than other secondary schools comparatively.
