The maps presented delineate the present structure and the future plans for the transformation of University Sports Centre with various essential infrastructural development.
Overall, it is readily apparent that significant changes are proposed for the redevelopment of the centre. While the centre arena will remain intact, prominent modifications will take place in the eastern and western side of the complex.
At present, there are two outdoor courts in the right and the left side of the sports centre, in the future plan these courts will be completely restructured into a leisure pool in the left side and two changing rooms in both left and right corners. The court on the eastern side will be transformed into a sports hall connected with the gym and two dance studio will also be erected in the north-east corner. Additionally, a cafe adjacent to the changing room in the left side, nearby the sports hall will be constructed.
Furthermore, currently, there is a reception at the entrance, a 75m pool at the middle of the complex and a gym in the north. On the right side of the pool seating arrangement is available for the vistiors and a changing room is located parallel to that. While the gym will be expanded in the eastern direction, rest of the facilities will remain intact in their present location.
