In today’s fast-growing world, both parents are working to give an easy and good life to their children, and as a result, children are left unattended at home. To tackle these issues, some young parents believe that grandparents can take better care of their children, whereas others are in favor of childcare centers to look after their children while they are working. In the essay, I will throw some light on both views with specific facts and examples; however, in my view, I believe that child care centers are better than grandparents.
On the one hand, many parents who are working prefer to leave their children with grandparents because they have more experience raising children. Therefore, pupils are left with them as they are trustworthy, and children feel safe with grandparents. Grandparents also impart some valuable lessons to them and teach pupils moral values at an early age only. Grandparents also feed pupils, play with them, and even read various comics books to impart some knowledge. Grandparents are often good consultants as they listen to the story of their grandchildren with patience and love. As a result, they gain emotional strength, which allows them to overcome various difficulties.
On the other hand, those who prefer child care centers give their main reasons that children become more socially active in these centers. The first reason is that centers are equipped with highly developed infrastructure and well-trained professionals, which enhance the kid’s initial development. In these childcare centers, various physical activities are running where they could participate with other peers, and the teacher also teaches them various lessons on social manners and moral values. In these childcare centers, various activities are done to enhance the cognitive skills of the pupil, and they learn how to make friends.
According to my perspective, childcare centers provide the best care as compared to the grandparents. Because at this age their health is not good, and they also do not have that much energy to handle the pupils. Early childcare is a challenging task, which may be too much for grandparents to cope with at that age. So child care centers are better, and children are handled by professionals who know the needs of children.
To conclude, we can say that grandparental care is good in many ways for grandchildren, but the advantage of childcare centers is more than that of it.
