The diagram displays information about an airline survery, taken in 2002, that asked passengers of different age groups about the feature that contributed the most to their choice of flight. Overall, the majority of travelers gave emphasis to the leg room feature, while in-flight entertainment mattered the least to them.
From the table, we can see that a 100 people were interviewed from each category. All categories, except the 25-45 year old females chose the seat space as the most vital in-flight feature. This was followed by the attendant services of the airline, which people considered as the second most important feature. 34% of women travelers aged 25-45 chose this as the most important feature, making it the highest percentage feature in their age group.
Third place was the drinks and meals feature of the airline. The amount of passengers choosing this feature as the most important were just slightly lower than the number of passengers choosing the attendant services feature. The 45+ female group actually chose this feature above the attendant services feature.Lastly, all categories gave the least preference to the movies feature of the airline. As passengers got older, the importance of this feature only dropped, with just 4 females and males aged 45+ choosing this over the other three factors.
