There is an ongoing debate on whether administrative bodies should look out for life on different planets, whereas on the other side it is argued that our own planet should be more important than others and it. This essay will clearly discuss both points along with my personal opinion in support of any one of the above.
To start with, multiple nations have come together and agreed on the fact that our planet will soon become inhabitable because of the ongoing global warming. This might not only affect nature but also human and animal lives. For instance, the scientists journal has published an analysis that by 2050, there will be no more drinking water left on earth that will cause major loss of lives. That being said, governments have been spending so much money to find out if there is potential for having new life on planets such as mars or jupiter.
However, a set of people argue that if certain problems are solved on earth then relocating to other planetary bodies would not be necessary. This involves environmental protection and conservation of wildlife across the planet. To exemplify, the law authorities of Thailand have issued an advisory for their citizens that they should avoid using vehicles that produce carbon emissions to protect the environment from pollution.
In my opinion,I personally think that the money should be spent in improving our own planet and making it more sustainable for livelihood because relocating to other planets would make things more problematic and cause massive economic damage.
To conclude with, although exploring other planets for finding life or sustainability is a good idea as this might help in future when life on Earth will be tough. However, I personally think that it is more important to focus on what is happening in our own land and promote awareness about conservation of environment and protecting our habitat.
