It is believed that there is no need on going to school as the students can get all necessary information from internet, and they can study at home. Even though studying at home offers convenience and comfortability, I completely disagree with the given statement as the teachers’ guidance and social interaction plays a crucial role in the learning process.
First and foremost, students can not thrive academically without proper teachers’ guidance. In other words, nowadays, the internet is full of information. Unlike studying at home, when students can not distinguish whether the information is accurate or not, at school, teachers provide children only with reliable and correct data. For example, at school children are provided with suitable books and access to verified information. Therefore, teachers’ supervision helps maintain discipline among children, ensuring that they follow classroom rules and remain focused on their studies.
Another reason why I support studying at school is because pupils learn better when they study in groups, by interacting with other students. For example, they can share ideas, discuss the topics, and solve problems. As a result, students can improve their collaboration and communication skills. Thus, studying at school can benefit students in the long term.
In conclusion, allthough students can access all the information on the internet at the press of a button, I personally think that guidance of teachers and well-connected community remains essential for effective learning.
