Many countries have introduced rules to limit working hours for workers. I believe these laws were implemented to cut down on the declining child-birth rate in many industriel countries, and also to improve the mental and phycial health of emoployees. I think these laws will have a serious postive effect in many people’s lives.
To begin with, in some nations due to the long and exacting long work hours, people tend to overlook starting familes in the near future, which will have a huge econominc damage to the country. Becuase, when these people keep pushing the idea of having a family, by the time they retarie, the number of people under 30 will drop dramaitcly , thus damaging the country’s work force, which in result force the government to bring people from outside the country to fill this gap, instead of employing their own people. A real life example of this, is Japan, due to the extremily long hours and the demanding work culture, the rate of children per one couple is less than 2. Which data has predicted that by the year 2060, the number of retires will be double the amount of workers.
Most importent outcome of these working hours laws, is that now people will have the time to socilze with others and meat a person to start a family with. Also this law will give people enough free time in their day to workout and improve their mental and phycial health. For example, in my Country the govrenment adopted a new law which force compines to only have four work days, and only 35 working hours a week. This rule have improved so many people’s live, and droped the obesity and depresion rate by almost half in just a year.
In counclosin, limiting the working hours will not only benefit the workers by giving them more time to improve their overall halth, and have more children, but it’ll also improve the country’s economey in the future by having a large workforce.
