The bar chart compares two age groups in terms of the factors that contribute to creating a pleasant working environment. These factors are divided into internal aspects – team spirit, a competent boss, respect from colleagues and job satisfaction – and external aspects including opportunities for personal development, job security, promotion prospects and salary.
Overall, both age groups share similar views regarding internal factors, while their opinions on external factors differ significantly. Internal aspects are generally valued more consistently across both groups, whereas younger respondents place greater emphasis on career-related opportunities.
For internal factors, over half of the participants in both age ranges consider team spirit, having a competent boss and job satisfaction as essential elements of a pleasant work environment. Respect from colleagues, although still important, appears slightly less significant compared with the other three factors.
In contrast, the two age groups differ markedly in their attitudes toward external factors. Between 80% and 90% of the younger group regard opportunities for personal development and promotion prospects as important, whereas fewer than 50% of the older group share this view. A similar pattern is observed in the perception of job security. The only external factor with comparable responses from both groups is salary, with around 69% to 70% in each age group considering it essential.
