The table delinuates the rates of female workers in labour force and managers in five distinct nations. All data have been calibrated in percentage.
Overall, the workplace in both sectors is dominated by men. Despite this, among the majority of countries considered, the representation of woman contribution in management is less than in the workforce.
Focusing on the data presented, Japan leads the highest woman participation in labour force at 48%, closly followed by United States at 46% . Conversely, 20% of workers in Egypt’s labour force are women, the lowest value among the countries listed. In managerial area, the highest female workers representation is reported in Australia and United States, both of them reach 43%. In contrast, the lowest rate of female managers is recorded in Sri Lanka, making up only 9%.
Moreover, in Australia and United States, there is only small gap between the proportions of female workers in labour forces and management. However, the woman managers representations in Egypt, Sri Lanka, and Japan are significantly lower than in labour forces. Sri Lanka is reported having 42% of woman workers in labour forces while only 9% in management. Similary, the female workers representation in Japan’s labour force hold 48% and only 17% in management.
