I believe that the advantages of using personal transport among residents outweigh the disadvantages because of oportunities such as use electric cars and alternitive fuels can help reduce their negative environmental impact; while high volume of personal vehicles contributes to air pollution and traffic congestion, the convenience and flexibility they provide in daily life are more significant.
A major advantage of using a private car for individuals is time efficiency and convenience as it provides greater flexibility in their daily schedules. This is because public transport schedules may not be suitable for specific situations in their lives. As a result, owning a private vehicle allows individuals to travel more comfortably and can be a real lifesaver in emergencies, when urban transport system are unvailable. For example, if someone works late, they do not need to worry about how to get home because they have personal means of transport.
A possible disadvantage of having private vehicles for individuals is that it negatively affect environment such as air pollution and taffic conjestion. This is because, the high volume of private transport in major cities often contibutes to severe traffic conjestion; moreover, the widespread use of personal means of transport significantly increases air pollution.However, in my opinion, these concerns are outweighed by the convenience and flexibility that private cars provide to residents.Furthermore, protecting the environment gives people the opportunity to use electric cars or alternative fuels, which have a less harmful impact on the ecosystem.
In conclusion, I believe that time efficiency and greater fleibility in individuals’ daily schedules carry grater weigh than environmental pollution such as air pollution and traffic congection because nowadays, people are more aware of protecting the invironment, which allows them to use electric private transport and alternitive fuels that have a reduced negative effect on the ecosystem.
