The map given illustrates the changes in Bridgetown over 30 decades from 1700 to 2000.
Overall, it can be clearly from the chart that the Bridgetown experienced the considerable change over the given period. Transforming from school into castle and constructing of railway.
Looking at the older layout of the area, it was bordered by river in the south-west and north-east and roads in the north-west and south-east. The southern and eastern parts was completely occupied by a farmland. There was a market place and woods in the northern part of the map. In the middle, you could see the bridge which is crossed out the river.
Turning to the latter map, it can be seen that bypass was built for passing to the across side. New school reconstructed instead of old castle. While, new railway line formed. the facilities include woods, market place, bridge and bridges are remained unchanged.
