junk food is becoming increasingly popular among many people. It has a negative influence on people’s lives. I partly agree with this, because fast food negatively affects on health and far worse, however, eating it can save time for many busy individuals.
On the one hand, consumption of fast food saves peoples times. More and more people are consuming it due to its convenience because it saves a lot of time for them. For cooking a normal and healthy meal usually takes about an hour or even more to prepare which is inconvenient for busy people, whereas a fast food often takes 5-10 minutes to make ready. For example, a busy student may grab a burger and fries between classes because fast food is quick, affordable, and does not require cooking or waiting long.
On the other hand, fast food contains large amount of calories and sugar which can cause obesity or serious health problems in people, many people know it, but still continue eating it. For instance, people who frequently consume unhealthy foods as part of their daily diet may start to suffer from obesity and diabetes. In addition, eating fast food regularly reduces the consumption of balanced meals, negatively
affecting lifestyle and overall nutrition. For example, regular fast food consumption replaces balanced home-cooked meals, leading to poor nutrition, unhealthy habits, and a lifestyle lacking essential vitamins and nutrients. Therefore, eating too much fast food increases the risk of obesity and diabetes.
In conclusion, although eating fast food can save time and can be convenient for many people, I believe that consuming it excessively leads to obesity and reduces other balanced meals.
