Many people think that old buildings should be protected, although others believe that they should be replaced by newer buildings. Old buildings should be preserved because of their historical value, while others think that modern buildings is more beneficial for society. This essay will discuss both views and give my own opinion.

In addition, modern buildings offer better facilities and more suitable for today’s lifestyle. For example, skyscrapers can use different purpose, such as office, supermarket or accommodation.
