In the present day people have an abundance of opportunities to spend their leisure time in various ways. It is often argued that having a scheduled downtime is better than not making a list of activities. This essay agrees that planning leisure time is beneficial to people.
By planning free-time properly, people can be convinced that their evenings won’t be wasted in front of the television. Because of the schedule, they’ll be able to try out lots of activities that are available today. It is therefore agreed that planning activities may maximize enjoyment from leisure time. For example, going on a vacation with a list may help you to try local food in the best restaurants or walk around the most beautiful places of the city.
However, many disagree and feel that life can become more surprising without a plan. After all, nobody knows what opportunities tomorrow may bring, the best memories are the ones that were made by an accident. Despite this, without a plan, people often spend their evenings boring and monotonous and this essay disagrees that planning free time should be dismissed for this reason. People who work hard are likely to go home after working hours and eat dinner while watching YouTube, without a planned leisure time the most part of their evenings would be the same.
In conclusion, while some people consider that scheduling is the best way to manage their time effectively, others prefer to take the unexpected opportunities that life presents. The choice between planning free time and being spontaneous is individual, for me, however, it seems more attractive to schedule downtime and take the best of what life provides.
