It is a belief to many that punishing criminals for a long time will not be a comprehensive solution. On the other hand, there are a large number of approaches to diminish their mindset. On the contrary, they are believing in hard punishment. It should be done to criminals profoundly. I understand and agree with the second statement, thus the following paragraph will deeply explain it.
There are a number of approaches by which wrongs/indeed could be diminished. If culprits stay for a long time in prison, it is more likely they become obstinate. What is more is that they tend to misbehave and remain isolated, which leads them towards anxiety. These are inappropriate ways to solve crime problems. For instance, by using these methods, violations have been spiked dramatically. Neither has crime reduced nor criminals’ health (whether physical or psychological) will be improved.
In spite of locking them up for a long period and keeping them in a government-friendly environment, however, by government laws such as “well-behaved inmate prison” laws must be applied. So, wrongdoers have been developed their behavior in the safe environment to extricate themselves from prison.Subsequently, on the top of that, libraries should be provided in the prisons on top of that so that prisoners would be able to develop their minds.
